Someday...

**Updated**
I called the ENT and he said that things aren't sounding so good!! We are getting her ears checked again after this round of antibiotics and if things aren't all cleared up at that point we will be scheduling tubes it looks like. So, we can make it through one more week - even if it means all of us get only 4 hours of sleep a night and Rease is sleeping in her too small infant seat with her poor little legs propped up on a blanket (because they dangle over the end). Hopefully we will be on the mend soon!

Someday I will find time to post again! Rease has been sick for a week and it stinks. We saw the ENT Monday and he said her ears looked fine and to finish the antibiotics we were given the week before for another ear infection. Monday night she got a terrible cough that would cause her to gag, choke, puke and all that fun stuff. It was still going on Thursday so I took her in to the doc and she said her ears were a mess and very concerning! Wonderful, considering the we had just been to the ENT and were already on an antibiotic for her ears. Needless to say no one has gotten much sleep around here and the only way we do is if we strap Rease in her infant carseat and either put her on the floor in our room or in our bed so that she can have mama 's arm across her(she likes to say that non-stop now :) ). Anyway, the cough seems to be clearing up and her ears still seem to be really bothering her. I plan to call the ENT tomorrow and see if we can't get seen again. I don't know how much more I can take of this. Her follow up appt is set for April and that seems like a long ways away!

I gotta run - the house is a mess and we haven't had dinner yet!

Poor Rease! Riley had a lot of problems with his ears his first year too. It's certainly no fun! I always felt so helpless when he felt so bad. Feel better soon!!!

have i told you about the chiropractor? Carter had horrible ear problems around one year old. {it was this time of year} he was scheduled for tubes and i kept praying that if there was another way that god would quickly show me. mark jones called within a couple of days saying that he could probably help. i took carter there about three times. something in his neck was out, pinching off his tube that drains. after the first treatment he slept the entire night {he had been up for nights!} He then went two YEARS without an ear infection. he and mayce both got an ear infection before christmas. i took them both to mark and both of them needed adjusted. they are fine now. it doesn't hurt them. they do not even cry. just thought i would let you know. it saved us a surgery!!

sorry to hear that it did not work. i don't think that it is a solution for all cases....obviously. it sounds like little rease is going to have to get tubes. i know lots of little kids that it has helped though. anything to make them better! that pain is pretty unbearable for them!!
