Due Date Guessing Game?!?!

Due to the number of comments about the baby surely not making it to her due date, I am going to throw a little game out there. Jenny mentioned it in her comments and the guys in Chris' office are already doing this, so we will do the same thing on the blog. I will work on it tonight, but in the mean time think of the date you want to pick. Whoever is closest will get a prize (I will have to be thinking of what that will be). Stay tuned for more details!

33 Weeks

First of all I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my wonderful wife!! Secondly, here she is looking great at 33 weeks, it's hard to believe that we are only about 6ish weeks out. We did get good news this week as well from the specialist that we have a clean bill of health for both mom and baby. Also this week we got our new camera. The photos posted tonight were shot with it. I am pretty pumped about it. I caught a good one of the dogs and Chelsea while we were trying to take the belly shot both of the dogs kept sitting down by her and they both actually looked up at her at the same time.

Here are a couple more of the mutts, they were actually pretty photogenic today.

Head Down and HUGE!

I thought I would make a quick post about our doctor's appointment and visit with Josh, Abrah, and Riley this week.

Monday morning we headed to the specialist for our last appointment there (yeah!). We had the usually sonogram and visit with the doctor. We had a different sono tech this time and she was shocked by how big the baby was. Ha ha. We told her that she has measured ahead since the first sonogram, but she just kept going on about how big she was. Every measurement they took was atleast 2.5 weeks ahead. Pretty much consistent with the rest of the sonograms we have had. The good news is that she is already head down, so hopefully she will stay that way. The huge news is that her estimated weight was 5 lbs 3 oz.....a little larger than the normal 4 pounds! So if that girl doesn't stay head down, she has some great gymnastic skills, because I don't think there is any room. The doctor didn't seem to think we would make it the 8 weeks we have left, due to her size, so we'll see. Delivery day could be a few weeks closer than we think (that or I will just be really miserable in 8 weeks!).

Josh, Abrah, and Riley showed up Monday afternoon and stayed until lunch today. We played outside with the dogs, did some shopping, made the baby announcements, and just hung out. Riley again had much love for my larger than life belly. I think Abrah got some pictures. Monday night he was eating fruit loops and was trying his hardest to feed them to the baby through my belly button (which he really couldn't figure out why it looked different than his). The dogs ended up getting most of those fruit loops :)

Speaking of the dogs, here is a nutty video of Molly (Riley's favorite).

Not much else is new around here, Chris got his new camera today, so I am sure that will be occupying most of his time in the near future. I still have two more days off of work this week (rolling temporary lay off's for those that think I am nuts for using a weeks vacation before the baby comes), so I will hopefully be getting some sewing done and maybe a few organizational projects done. We'll see. Have a good rest of the week and we will put up some belly pics on Sunday.

31 Weeks

Here is the week 31 picture. Not too much to report on from last week, but we will have an ultra sound tomorrow morning. Josh, Abrah, and Riley are also coming tomorrow to spend a couple days over here. Chelsea is off for the week, but I will be working. Oh well... I got my vacation last month so I can't complain. I am also getting my new camera this week and can't wait to post some pictures with it. Hopefully I can figure out how to use a few of the settings by the time next week comes around.

Week 30

Here is the week 30 belly pic. This week has been long and I am getting increasingly tired, so I didn't get the rest of the baby shower pics into Picasa. Maybe this week I will get something done with them.

We had a pretty uneventful week besides being busy. We are thankful for the spring weather we had today and are hoping it will stick around!

Catchin' Up

We haven't posted for a while and I apologize. Apparently the tiredness they say that comes back in the 3rd trimester is really here. I have felt like doing nothing when I come home from work. We are now at the end of week 29 and cannot believe that we only have 10 weeks to go! It is going to fly by!
Last weekend was our baby shower back home and we were blessed with lots of friends and family who came and helped us celebrate in anticipation of Baby Corwin's arrival. I have never seen so much pink in my entire life! There are a couple shots below of the pile of pink things as I sorted them out tonight to get them ready to wash. That is a lot of pink!

While I was at the shower Chris was working on trying to get the crib finished up. Everything is assembled except the front piece. We didn't realize you had to have the hardware to allow it to go up/down before you could assemble that caused a little bit of a hiccup in the assembly process. But, it is nearing completion, so that is a good thing.

Other than the shower we really haven't been up to a whole lot. We went up to Chicago this weekend to hit up the Motherhood Maternity outlet. I would recommend the drive for the bargains. I wouldn't pick a day when it is 40 degrees and raining, but oh well. We got some good bargains and I am pretty sure that I won't have to buy any more maternity clothes. I hated buying them now knowing I only have 10 more weeks, but pretty much the only things I have purchased thus far are winter clothes. I am hoping that spring is coming soon, so I figured maybe if I bought for spring it would come faster!

Well, here are some pictures. Enjoy!

I think Jody's face explains this one pretty well "What in the world are Abrah and Micah doing??". I honestly can't remember what they were doing, but there is a Week 28 belly shot.

The Tuttle girls, Jenny couldn't be there, but we were all thinking of her!

This is the back of the baby bed. The left side looks a little funky because one of the sides is behind it and sticking out a bit. Looks pretty good if you ask me.

Week 29 Belly Pic. Yes, I look really bad. Oh well. There is a slight glimps of the ugly hutch I bought super cheap....just waiting to get the motivation to refinish it and hoping it will look better after that!

I will add a link in to the rest of the shower pictures once I get them all on Picasa.
